MyBuddyly Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility — 18+ only

MyBuddyly is strictly for users aged 18 years or older. You must provide truthful registration details and must not impersonate another person.

2. Mandatory KYC

KYC is mandatory on the MyBuddyly platform. Customers and Buddies may be required to submit identity information and documents requested by MyBuddyly. Buddy profiles cannot be treated as verified until the platform completes the applicable verification and approval process. KYC documents are private and may be accessed only by authorized reviewers and service providers where legally permitted.

3. Mandatory Terms acceptance

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions is compulsory. The acceptance record, terms version, date/time and relevant technical information are recorded and submitted to the Admin system for audit and safety purposes. Users must accept the current Terms, Privacy Policy and Safety Rules before using restricted features such as booking where the platform requires acceptance.

4. Nature of the service

MyBuddyly provides technology for lawful, consensual and strictly non-sexual companionship and social support. It is not a dating, escort, prostitution, sexual-services or adult-content marketplace.

5. No harassment, threats or abuse

No Customer or Buddy may harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, assault, blackmail, discriminate against, exploit or otherwise abuse another user. Sexual solicitation, unwanted sexual conduct, coercion, trafficking, drugs, weapons and other illegal activity are prohibited. Serious incidents may be reported to the police or other competent authorities, and strict legal action may be taken where applicable.

6. Consent and boundaries

Every interaction must remain voluntary and respectful. Either person may refuse an activity or end a meeting. Users must respect physical, personal and communication boundaries at all times.

7. Bookings, payments and in-app communication

Use MyBuddyly's booking, wallet and in-app communication systems as required by the platform. Chat unlocks only after the Buddy accepts the booking and the applicable payment hold succeeds. Do not attempt to bypass platform safety, payment or verification controls.

8. Direct/off-platform meetings

If a Customer and Buddy arrange or conduct a meeting directly outside the MyBuddyly booking and safety system, MyBuddyly cannot provide the same platform controls, payment hold, booking record, location/safety workflow or dispute process. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyBuddyly will not be responsible for incidents arising from an unauthorized off-platform meeting or transaction. This does not exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Cancellation and overtime

Cancellation fees, refunds, wallet holds and overtime are governed by the booking rules shown in the app. Accepted bookings may be subject to the stated cancellation fee. Extra time may be charged per started extra hour at the applicable Buddy rate.

10. Location sharing and safety tracking

Location sharing is consent-based. During an accepted booking, a user may share their location with MyBuddyly Safety Support for safety assistance. Exact live location is not intended for public browsing. Location data is used for safety, support, fraud prevention, incident review and legal obligations, subject to applicable law and the platform Privacy Policy. Users can stop voluntary live-location sharing when the feature is available.

11. SOS / emergency support

The app may provide an SOS function that alerts MyBuddyly Safety Support/Admin and can include the user's available location. The support team may contact the user to understand the situation and decide the next action. SOS is not a replacement for police, ambulance or other emergency services. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

12. Complaints, blocking and investigations

Users may block another user and submit complaints through the platform. MyBuddyly may review booking records, chat records, reports, KYC status and available safety information. Accounts may be suspended or terminated while an investigation is conducted.

13. Reviews

Reviews must be truthful and based on genuine interactions. Do not publish threats, hate, sexual content, private identity information, fabricated allegations or manipulated ratings.

14. Privacy and data protection

Personal data, KYC information, location information and safety reports are handled for defined service, safety, security and legal purposes under the applicable privacy notice and Indian law. Access is restricted according to operational need and authorization.

15. Account security

Keep passwords, OTPs, payment credentials and identity documents secure. MyBuddyly staff will not ask you to disclose your password or OTP.

16. Platform safety and cooperation

Users must cooperate with reasonable safety checks, KYC requests, complaint investigations and lawful requests from competent authorities. MyBuddyly may restrict features or suspend accounts where necessary for safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

17. Changes and termination

MyBuddyly may update these Terms, safety controls, fees and features. Continued use after an updated acceptance flow may require acceptance of the new version.

18. Governing law

These Terms are intended for use in India and are subject to applicable Indian law. The final legal documents should be reviewed by qualified Indian counsel before public launch.

19. User acceptance

By checking the acceptance box and selecting “Accept & Continue”, you confirm that you are 18+, have read these Terms, understand the mandatory KYC and safety rules, agree not to harass or abuse any user, and agree to use the platform only for lawful non-sexual companionship.
